Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
What if I don't know my birth time?
This is the most common question or assumption that an estimated birth time is close enough. The more accurate your birth data, the more reliable your reading. While, yes! a general birth time will get us close there are a few highly sensitive aspects on your chart that will be unreliable without a birth time. This mostly involves, but is not limited to, the rising sign and the moon. The rising sign is the exact position of the sun to the horizon when you took your first breath. This sets the wheel and your houses (the pie slices) on your chart. The wheel changes a degree every 4 minutes. So if you are near 0° or 29° in the guess time you can see how important having the actual time is for this point. The other planet that is incredibly personal and also fast moving is the moon. The moon moves through a zodiac sign every 2.5 days or so. Once again if the moon is falling early in the zodiac, or late, the moon will move into another zodiac script and present differently.
Do you predict the future?
I am not a mundane or pop astrologer. I am a psychological astrologer. I use astrology for myself and clients as a tool for introspection, shadow work, context for understanding life events and responses. I feel astrology is a fantastic mirror and that the planets and stars are reflecting ourselves back to us through the geometry. I LOVE letting astrology guide us towards more self acceptance and self celebration.

Can I look at your chart and say 'rough waters ahead?' Yea, I can, but it is so subjective. What I consider rough, might be your idea of adventure. Just like the weather reports. A report might say cold front on the way.... one person is going to excitedly get their firewood, new balls of yarn and the kettle ready to go. All the while another might be deeply grieving their outdoor wedding experience getting turned upside down. We are such fearful little creatures and I am not in the business of creating more fear. There is enough of that floating around.
How much does a reading cost and what do I get?
A birth chart reading is $175 for a 90 minute session. In the session we will begin the adventure of deciphering the clues your soul has left in your astrological blueprint.
We will meet on zoom, and the session will be recorded.
I don't believe in Astrology, should I invest in a reading to be convinced?
That's probably not how I would spend $175, but I trust you to manage your resources. I will not try to convince anyone about astrology, although maybe we can find out on your birth chart why you are drawn to astro (hence here reading about this) while also rejecting the perspective. Ask any police officer or healthcare worker how their shifts go on a full moon.... Astrology is not a belief, it is an experience. An experience we are all having as one big collective family. :)
